The Geology and Geological Engineering Department offers courses for undergraduate and graduate students in geology, geological engineering, paleontology, and museum studies.
The department offers field courses in geology, geological engineering, paleontology, environmental science, and volcanology are offered through the Black Hills Natural Sciences Field Station.
