Geological Engineering Emphasis Areas
"Engineering our Environment"
Geological engineering instruction at SDSM&T provides training at both the undergraduate and graduate levels through the Ph.D. Students completing the program become employed by engineering consulting firms, engineering construction firms, mining and petroleum companies, geological agencies (U.S. Geological Survey, SD Geological Survey), various Local, State, and Federal agencies (regulating, planning, engineering, and scientific), as well as continuing in graduate school.
